Freebie Star Frames and Mats

Hi everyone,

I know it has been a long time since I last posted but I have been a bit busy. I got a new PC a week or so ago and it has taken me some time to get all my programs, files and machines set up. Anyway I think I have got there now and am back to doing a bit of designing.

The freebie today is a set of frames with optional  mats - hope you like them, I think they could be useful for birthdays and Christmas.

Freebie Bird & Flowers Card

Hi everyone

Many thanks for all your comments on my last freebie, nice to know you liked it.

I thought you might like to see some photos of Tommy & Tuppence now they have reached the grand old age of 1 year !! We have just started letting them go out into the garden and they have been happy to stay there until Friday when Tommy disappeared. We started getting a little anxious when he had been missing for about 4 hours as it's not like him to miss a meal. We started searching but no sign and by 10.30 pm we were pretty worried about him. We set of on another search and not far from home we could hear meowing and eventually found him stuck up a tall Conifer tree. Hubby had to go and get a ladder and we eventually got him down and safely home - not an experience we want to repeat. They are both micro chipped but I have ordered some collars for them with our address and phone number on just in case.

and the two of them together - as you can see their colouring has changed a little from when they were kittens with Tuppence having a bit of ginger in her.

Anyway enough of them, on to the freebie - a simple aperture card just add a nice backing paper. Quite a good card for Spring I think.

Just to clarify

From some of the comments on my post from yesterday, it seems that some of you think my Blog is closing which is not the case, it is my old website shirleyscards.co.uk that has closed. You can now purchase my templates via my new Design Store but I shall continue to post freebies here on my Blog. Hope that clarifies things.

Butterfly Circle Lattice Card Freebie

Hi everyone,

Today is the end of an era for me as I have finally closed down my Shirley's Cards website - it served me well for a long time but it became too much like hard work and  I couldn't provide instant downloads which is what most people want these days so in one way I feel a little sad but on the other hand it's quite a relief not to have to be constantly checking my emails for sales. My Design Store is now located here. It did mean that the Gallery page at the top of my Blog disappeared too as it was part of my website. I have set up another one but have not managed to retrieve all the photos you  sent me, there a few on there but if you would like to be featured just email me a photo of your makes using my templates and I'll add them - details on the Gallery page.

Now on to the freebie, a lattice card with a centre circle of butterflies. The flower embellishment in the centre could be replaced with something else such as a sentiment. Not a very good photo but I hope you like it and Happy Easter to you all.

Curvy Card Freebie

Hi everyone,

Just getting back in to the crafting groove after my holiday. We were so lucky to get away when we did as we missed all the bad weather caused by the Beast from the East here in the UK. Weather still a little chilly but hopefully it will start to get warmer before too long.

I seem to have quite a few new followers either here or following my Facebook page so welcome to you all.

For those of you who use a Silhouette Cameo 3 you might like to try the latest open beta version 4.1.426  of the software as improvements have been made to the bluetooth connectivity. I am on the beta testing team and have been testing it for a while in closed beta  and the bluetooth works really well for me now. This is the download link  and you can read the release notes here

Now on to the freebie, it  is a curved shape card which you can decorate as you like but the file does include the toppers I used in the photo. I used an embossing folder for the centre panel but I think patterned paper would look good too. Hope you like it.
