What I've beeen up to

It's a long time since my last post so I thought I would let you know what I've been up to. On Friday I was lucky enough to get the new Curio machine and I've spent the weekend getting acquainted with it. So far I have only used the emboss/deboss features but am really loving it. I especially like the fact that when you use the pens you can now fill the text rather than just getting an outline. Anyway here are some photos of my very first attempts and I'm sure that I shall improve with practise and get more adventureous.

These cards were scored and embossed and the new fill text feature used with pens.

I used Coredinations card on this box easel card and after embossing I sanded it
.
Embossed vellum for the glass effect.

If anyone has any questions about the new Curio just get in touch as I believe it will be available to purchase this coming week.

  1. See you've been having fun with your new 'toy' Shirley, I have enough trouble with my portrait to have a dabble with this new thingy!

  11. Great cards, I have been considering the Curio to put with my Cameo (which I love), am waiting for more reviews before plunging in with my hard earned (and saved up) money!!! Please keep us updated about how you are getting on with it xx
PS Does it really cut thicker material than the Cameo, if so, think I will need rather than want it xx Take care and keep crafting

    1. Hi Jackie the standard blade cuts just the same as the Cameo but a 2mm deep cut blade will be available soon along with a 12 x 8" cutting platform and mats.
