Holiday notice and a little freebie

Hi everyone,  just to let you know that I am going on holiday tomorrow until 14 September so if anyone makes a purchase from my website shop I shan't be able to email the templates out until I get back home.

I'm afraid I've been neglecting my Blog recently as I have been busy playing with my new Curio which I really love. It was a bit of trial and error at first as not all card stock shows the embossing so well as others but I am happy with the results I'm getting. Am looking forward to when the larger   12" x 8" base will be available but using it in conjunction  with the Cameo works fine.
Here are a few more piccies - used vellum on the first one but the photo doesn't do it justice.

What I've beeen up to

It's a long time since my last post so I thought I would let you know what I've been up to. On Friday I was lucky enough to get the new Curio machine and I've spent the weekend getting acquainted with it. So far I have only used the emboss/deboss features but am really loving it. I especially like the fact that when you use the pens you can now fill the text rather than just getting an outline. Anyway here are some photos of my very first attempts and I'm sure that I shall improve with practise and get more adventureous.

These cards were scored and embossed and the new fill text feature used with pens.

I used Coredinations card on this box easel card and after embossing I sanded it
