Filigree Border Card Freebie

This week's freebie features a border edge. I decided to do white on white with a coloured insert to show through the border. I used one of my embossing folders to make a panel for the front then decorated with some butterflies from my stash. Hope you like it and will find a use for it. A quick update on my kitchen, all the building work and decorating is finished now so tomorrow they start installing the new kitchen - can't wait !!

    Love this card and have already cut it out in two different sizes. I plan to use one for a sympathy card. I have a question about how you did the embossing on just the front panel without getting it on the filigree portion.

      Pleased you like the card Susan. I did the embossing on a separate piece of card then just stuck it on to the front.

    BEAUTIFUL card Shirley, love how you have used the butterflies and embossing to show it off.

    Hope you have a grand menu in the offing after you have cleaned up and replaced everything in the cupboards, washed the floor, got rid of all the dust!!! just remember what happened when I had mine done LOL. But then sooooooo worth it to stand back and say, WOW! that's my kitchen.
