I make all the Christmas Cards I send but I have to make so many that I have to admit that only close friends and relatives get 'special' cards for all the others I just do something simple that I can easily repeat. This is what I'm doing this year using my Cuttlebug and a simple word topper. The Embossing folder I used is by Crafts Too and I bought mine on ebay, There are some lovely designs - the one I used is called Christmas Tree Frame. Your card example is beautiful. Thank you for the file.
ReplyDeleteShirley, just stumbled across your blog, these cards are gorgeous! What card stock do you prefer to use for your base cards?

Hi Jules
ReplyDeleteFor my base cards I tend to use 220gsm card which I often get from eBay as there aren't too many craft shops near where I live. For toppers I like to use 160gsm.
Can't help with your google sign in I' afraid - I'm using it myself and it's OK.
Thanks Shirley, I have an original silhouette and you have given me some great ideas.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Shirley, so good in fact I've bought 2 Xmas folders and I am doing a blatant copy of yours, hope you don't mind :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you say about the cards, I have about 100 to do, which will be like this, it will be so much easier and quicker.
PS, thanks for all the files, they are great
You're welcome Faith - I've finished the majority if my Christmas cards now. I normally put inserts in the cards but this time I printed directly on the inside of the card base before I embossed them so that saved a bit more time !!
